Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet falls under the group of drugs called anthelmintic. It is used to cure cases of strongyloidiasis; which are roundworm infections. It also effectively treats head lice, scabies and river blindness. Ivermectol 6Mg Tablet works in the body by killing the developing worms and not the adult ones.

The common side effects that you maybe subject to experience on using Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet are vomiting, nausea, reduced appetite, bloating, abdominal pain, tiredness, constipation, drowsiness, lightheadedness, headache chest pain, shakiness. If you are receiving treatment for onchocerciasis (river blindness) then you may have certain reactions for the first four days such as swollen eyes and swollen lymph, eye redness or itchiness, fever. However, if these allergic reactions continue, promptly notify your physician.

How ToTake

Take Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet is used in the treatment of onchocerciasis which is a parasitic worm infection caused by Onchocerca volvulus transmitted through the bite of black flies characterized by skin itching and vision impairment.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet is used in the treatment of strongyloidiasis which is an intestinal infection caused by a roundworm called Strongyloidesstercoralis characterized by abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Ivermectol 6 Mg Tablet is used in the treatment of scabies which is a skin infection caused by the mite called Sarcoptesscabiei characterized by itching and red rashes on the skin.
